Yale New Haven Health Launches MH-CURE in Bridgeport

Mobile Heartbeat Announces MH-CURE Launch for Yale New Haven Health’s Bridgeport Hospital

Campus-wide mobility strategy expands from emergency department operations to clinical and ancillary units for a complete clinical communication and collaboration solution at the Bridgeport, Conn. hospital

WALTHAM, Mass. — June 6, 2019 —

Healthcare communications company Mobile Heartbeat® today announced that it has deployed a complete clinical communication and collaboration solution for Connecticut-based Yale New Haven Health’s Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Conn. Now live at the 383-bed acute care facility, the mobility strategy activates Mobile Heartbeat’s MH-CURE Platform in all units. This expands upon a previous roll-out to the hospital’s emergency department.

The campus-wide launch features both a shared device and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) model—putting streamlined communications directly into the hands of more than 2,000 hospital users and clinicians. In addition to BYOD compatibility, more than 800 Apple iPhones have gone live with shared device interoperability. Thanks to Mobile Heartbeat’s staff assignment integration with Epic, care providers assigned in Epic automatically appear in the MH-CURE Dynamic Care Team™, allowing staff to easily identify care providers, supporting efficiency and workflows across-the-board.

Bridgeport Hospital also selected Mobile Heartbeat to deploy a best-in-class Connexall alarm management system for the facility’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Designed to improve alert triage and reduce alarm fatigue, the Connexall system consolidates urgent communications for an efficient, reliable chain-of-command protocol. The product wholly integrates with the MH-CURE Platform for a cohesive communication experience.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better partnership experience with Yale New Haven Health for this Bridgeport Hospital deployment,” added Ron Remy, Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Heartbeat. “Now equipped with MH-CURE, the facility can optimize workflows to elevate care delivery—and we’re thrilled to see those advancements make an immediate impact on both clinicians and patients alike.”
