Mobile Heartbeat to Sponsor and Exhibit at Nursing Informatics Bootcamp

WALTHAM, Mass. — February 18, 2015 — Mobile Heartbeat, a leading provider of smartphone applications for improving clinical workflow and team communications, today announced it will be sponsoring and exhibiting at the Nursing Informatics Bootcamp taking place February 27- 28, 2015 at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California.

Mobile Heartbeat will have a booth providing information and demonstrations of MH-CURE, its secure smartphone application enabling clinical communications, patient-specific workflow and a real-time clinical team directory connecting all members of a patient’s care team.

The Nursing Informatics Bootcamp will bring nursing informatics professionals from hospitals across Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada to attend an intensive two-day course focusing on current informatics trends and issues in health. The HIMSS Southern California chapter will host a networking event at the conclusion of the Bootcamp with a presentation on “Mobile Technology in Healthcare: Uses and Challenges.” Eisenhower’s director of information technology, Andrew Hendrian, and nursing research director, Margaret L. Beaman, will be discussing how the hospital is using the MH-CURE smartphone application to save time, reduce costs and improve patient care.
